Last week I went to the dentist for my regular checkup. They verified that I have all my teeth still, but more importantly gave me a clean bill of health. Well, actually an excellent bill of health, saying that I take really good care of my teeth, so my regular attentive care has brushed away health concerns.
I was excited to hear this! Especially as I haven't taken the best care of my teeth, besides daily brushing. But of course I didn't tell them this.
Bragging is not my intention. Instead, I attribute my healthy teeth to the large quantities of water that I drink, and not drinking pop, and coffee. I don't drink bottled water, but city water containing cavity-fighting fluoride. I believe drink lots of liquids and avoiding pop and coffee has helped to keep my teeth healthy and fairly white.
