It's been exciting to be so close to the river during the day lately as it has been mostly frozen over. At times though big iceberg like chunks crack loose (you can hear it) and float down the river. It looks like you could easily walk across it, but I'm not going to. At our building the ice is almost up to the bottom of the windows. But don't worry they are about an inch thick glass, and can keep the water out.
