Tsunami Aid

I think it is wonderful that so much money has been donated to aid in relief (other link) for the Tsunami destruction. I am curious though how the millions of dollars donated will affect non-profit organizations that might not receive donations now, since families donated to Tsunami relief. Will people not donate to their regular organizations because they donated to Tsunami relief this year? Will these organizations behurt by this?
