Yesterday, Google released Picasa 2, its photo editing and management software. This service like several other google services (Google news, Blogger, Google Desktop Search) do not have any apparent source of income. I woule like to see how these services will pan out to bring money in. It would not fit with previous moves by Google to change these into pay services, so the idea must be that it will drive users to GMail and Google Search.
